Located 45 minutes away from Klamath Falls, the Nail Spring Ranch in Bonanza, Oregon is a shooting destination that is truly on another level.
Check it out here: Nail Spring Ranch
Settled into the high desert of eastern Oregon on over 2,000 acres, the Nail Spring Ranch offers a wide array of shooting opportunities, from pistol and carbine ranges, to challenging long ranges with even more variety of field shooting scenarios.
This is our first season of offering open enrollment classes at Nail Spring, and I’m super pumped! Our last experiences there in the summer of 2023 were nothing short of awesome and we’re excited to offer this awesome opportunity to our students now, and into the future.
As an immersion experience, we’ll all be staying at the ranch together, as a class. With that, there’ll be opportunities to participate in group fitness sessions, side-bar conversations and classes after-hours. This is an experience about fellowship and camaraderie to develop both your shooting skills, as well as your own headspace.
This is an all-inclusive immersion experience - we won’t be offering off-site lodging options. You’re either all-in on this one, or it’s just not your jam.
What’s included in the cost of this experience can’t be matched anywhere else. Not only are you going to shoot at a world-class training facility, you’ll be staying in 4-Star accommodations in a brand-new guest lodge. You’ll be eating home-cooked meals for breakfast and dinner - all real, whole foods with huge portions. For lunch, you’re gonna be brown-baggin it, but it’s one boujie brown bag! At the end of the day, enjoy an open-bar of libations (if that’s your style) while you relax in the common area and shoot a couple games of pool.
The ranch boasts a fully-appropriated gym, a classroom with AV equipment, and DoD approved firearm and ammunition storage.
And, if you’ve got the means to use it - Nail Spring has a 2200’ long grass runway.
The ranges that Nail Spring Ranch offers are diverse and challenging. There’s no shortage of wind to be had there, either.
The field-shooting out at Nail Spring Ranch is fantastic - plenty of open spaces and uneven terrain make for challenging shooting positions, deceptive visual problems, and tricky winds.
Every hit you get at Nail Spring is a hit you earned.

Driving - If you’re driving in from wherever, you’ll receive the address to the ranch prior to the class. For general travel planning - Bonanza, OR is the closest town.
Flying Commercial - Medford, OR is the closest airport. If you’re planning on flying in we recommend flying into Medford. Other airport options are Reno, NV - however it’s 4 hours away and we’ll require you to provide your own transportation to/from the ranch.
Flying Private - If you’re a pilot and an airplane owner, you can land right in front of the lodge. If you’d like to fly in, let us know and we’ll provide you with the coordinates of the strip.
Nail Spring is an experience you’re not going to want to miss…
You’ve already built the foundation. Now it’s time to turn conscious effort, and clunky execution into unconscious competence; where the fundamentals happen automatically and your mind is open to process more information, faster, without feeling overwhelmed. That extra cognitive bandwidth is what separates “good” from “dangerous at any distance.” It’s also the doorway to the flow state we’re all chasing as precision shooters.
Why The Skills Progression Camp and not an “Advanced” Course?
I don’t like the word “advanced” and you won’t see it here. There is no secret technique reserved for the anointed. There’s no magic fairy dust that anyone can sprinkle on you. The fundamentals never change; shooters who look “advanced” simply execute them faster, cleaner, and with far fewer mistakes. This clinic is about moving those basics from the front of your brain to the back, so you can solve other more important problems in the same amount of time.
We designed the Long Range Skills Progression Camp to meet every shooter exactly where they are on the spectrum of skills. Some students step straight from our 4-day Intro class into this camp the very next day or weekend and leave dramatically better. Others show up fighting a stubborn plateau after years behind the rifle. Some are already ringing steel but want structured coaching to finally break into true autonomy. All of them belong here at this camp!
No matter what the range throws at us or what venue we conduct this camp at (vengeful wind, dead calm, swirling thermals, mirage, or glass-slick conditions), we adapt the range, the targets, and the drills to push you forward. Windy? We shrink the steel and force precise wind calls. Calm? We get you off the ground, onto tripods and barricades, and teach you to own the wobble with your mind. Either way, you get hundreds of deliberate, coached repetitions and immediate, honest feedback.
Our mission is simple: refine what you already know, expose you to the next layer of concepts, and unlock more of your own potential; so you leave as a more self-sufficient shooter who can train, diagnose, and improve without needing a coach standing behind you.
What You’re Going To Learn:
Who’s This For?
Developed beginners fresh out of an Intro class. Proficient shooters stuck on a plateau. Experts looking for structured, high-rep coaching to finally reach unconscious competence. If you already have a solid grasp of the basics and are hungry to commit them to unconscious competence so you can solve more complex problems in the real world, this camp was built for you.
Come spend focused time turning competence into flow.
Spots are limited, and will fill fast.
