PLACEHOLDER — NOT LEGAL ADVICE. This document is temporary filler so the page is not empty at launch. It must be reviewed and replaced by the client’s attorney before or shortly after go-live. Every item in [SQUARE BRACKETS] needs a real value.
These Terms of Service govern your use of the websites, webinars, courses, and membership operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Modern Day Sniper,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering for a webinar, creating an account, or purchasing a membership, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least [AGE] years old to register. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password confidential. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, transferred, or sold.
Registering for a live session reserves a seat and entitles you to the confirmation email, calendar invite, and reminders. Replay access is provided to registered attendees and remains available for [NUMBER] days after the session.
Seats are limited and allocated first come, first served. We may reschedule or cancel a session. If we do, we will notify registrants by email and offer the next available date.
Membership is offered on a [monthly / annual] basis at the price shown at checkout. Payment is collected by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card details.
Your membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. We will give you at least [NUMBER] days’ notice by email before any price change takes effect.
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not prorated.
If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend access until payment succeeds.
If the membership is not right for you, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] within [NUMBER] days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.
Renewal payments after that period are generally non-refundable, though we will consider individual circumstances in good faith. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.
[This section must match exactly what the sales page promises. If the two disagree, the more generous wording will normally apply.]
The community exists so that members can learn from one another. When taking part, you agree not to:
Harass, threaten, or abuse other members or staff.
Post unlawful content, or content that encourages unlawful activity.
Give instruction or advice that is unsafe, or that encourages unsafe handling of firearms.
Advertise, recruit, or solicit without our written permission.
Share, republish, or resell material from the courses or community.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules, at our discretion.
All course material, video, written content, graphics, and branding remain our property or that of our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
While your membership is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the material for your own training. You may not record, download, copy, distribute, or make it available to anyone else. This licence ends when your membership ends.
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and reproduce it for the purpose of operating and promoting the community.
You confirm you have the right to post what you share, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Our material relates to the use and handling of firearms. Please read this section carefully.
Instruction is educational. It is not a substitute for qualified, in-person supervision, and it does not certify or qualify you to do anything. You are solely responsible for your own conduct, for the safe handling and storage of any firearm, and for complying with every law that applies where you are.
You agree to follow established firearms safety rules at all times and to seek qualified in-person instruction where appropriate. You accept the risks involved in shooting activity and agree that we are not responsible for injury, damage, or loss arising from your use of the material.
The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee any particular result, improvement, or level of performance. Progress depends on your own practice and circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the [NUMBER] months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop using the service at any time by cancelling your membership. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if your payment fails, or if we are required to do so by law. Where the circumstances allow it, we will give you notice first.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue to apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [JURISDICTION]. [IF ARBITRATION IS INTENDED, THE ATTORNEY MUST DRAFT THAT CLAUSE HERE.]
We may update these terms. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If a change is material, we will let you know by email or a notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
